博士毕业于中国科学院-广州生物医药与健康研究院，博士毕业后分别于美国University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (Department of developmental biology) 和Indiana University School of Medicine (Pediatrics department) 完成博士后训练，后于美国Indiana University School of Medicine (Pediatrics department) 担任助理教授，目前全职工作于广东省人民医院（广东省医学科学院）-医学研究部，担任副研究员。
